A 1 day trip to some of the most beautiful beaches Cape Town has to offer (Llundudno, Sandy Bay), boat trip to see the Cape Fur seals at Duiker Island (optional) and the chance to taste some fresh seafood in Hout Bay Harbour.
Leaving Quilombo we travel over the Constantia neck into the Hout Bay valley and on to the harbour where we take a glass-bottomed boat to see the Cape Fur seals up close from above and below the water. African curios and seafood stalls line the warf. Then on to beautiful Llandudno beach and Sandy Bay. On our return at Llundudno we meet up with those not wanting to face the 30min walk to Sandy Bay (Cape Town’s unofficial nudist beach) and return to Quilombo.
Llandudno is a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape Peninsula. Unspoilt by commercial activity (no shops or petrol stations), it boasts one of the Cape’s most beautiful beaches, surrounded by large granite boulders and overlooked by mountains.
Sandy Bay, Cape Town
Sandy Bay is situated along the road between Cape Town to Cape Point and adjacent to
Llandudno, Cape Town.
Sandy Bay lies on one of the last remaining stretches of untouched natural coastline on the Cape coast. It is one of the Cape Peninsula’s most inaccessible beaches and as such is well known as an unofficial nudist beach.
